Anna, the princess who kept taking off her tiara and Samuel, the Lion Hearted on Halloween Night.
The fish at Cabela's aquarium... just a fun photo. For those that like photography, this is shot at 1/4 of a second, hand held without IS.
These people (and their dog) were waiting along the edge of the river, actually, a small tributary of the Xingu, as we went past in our boat. It reminds me of the old B&W Nat'l Geographic photos, for some reason.
This is the first photo that has Daniel's square jaw standing out, as compared to the smooth rounded, jaw of a little boy... he is growing up!
Magenta is it..... A flower next to our stairs - and, yes, that is really the color.
We were playing around outside, where Samuel was taking his little sun bath. I snapped this photo of Anna laughing about something:)
Caleb is hamming around in one of those hooded towels that has a chicken face on the top. What a kid!
This is Caleb & Anna, sharing and talking. I took this from overhead and it is really kind of cool. They were all dressed up to take Grandma to the airport:( We had a wonderful time with Grandma (Kathy Fuller) and we miss her!
A creek that runs through Altamira - this is built up with stilt houses along it's banks.
We have these plants with these big leaves in our yard - like maybe 3 or 4 feet long. So, this is a macro of one of those leaves.
There was alot of smoke in the air for some reason - you can see some stars in the sky on the left hand side of the photo. The strange orange glow is from the type of street lights that are used here in town.
The stars are shining bright - red hue is the ambient light from the city lights - this is about 10 minutes outside of Altamira.
