OK, Today I am off on a two week trip to a place that both frightens and concerns me... the States:)
I have the privilege of being invited to a missions conference in mid-state Illinois. I look forward to my time there as I will be able to visit with my brothers and also hook up with some good friends.
So, please pray that:
1) God will take care of my family, blessing them with health, safety, and a fun time.
2) I will find favor with the people whom I visit. I sense this is God's timing and that it could be a huge opportunity for the movement here.
3) That I will be able to communicate clearly the vision and goals of the work here.
Well, it is 5am, I need to be at the airport at 11am, and I have more than 6 hours of stuff to do before I leave! Thanks for your prayers.

Are you going to be around the Peoria area?
If you have time, maybe we can grab a cup of coffee or at least find a moment to talk.
I'd love to learn more about the Xingu Mission and the work you guys do there. I'm always trying to learn about becoming more 'missional' here in the states... basically, how do we replicate the ministry you guys do there - here.
Send me an email if you think you'll have any spare time.

Do you remember "Thanksgiving is the time of year, that tukeys live in constant fear." ?
